Manic Monday, or Super Me

It's odd how I get the most done on the busiest day of the week.  Wait, let me rephrase that, it's kind of a "duh" statement.

It's odd that, while at work, on Monday, the busiest day for us, I get the most non-work-related stuff done.

Maybe it's the Manic Monday mindset.  We as average m-f 9-5'ers are accustomed to "The Mondays."  We expect to have a lot to do, and a strong desire to not work, which we will have to set aside and get things done.  Is that same "Deal with it" attitude associated with surviving Monday also making it easier to focus on schoolwork and life?

Today I have rewritten the outline and initial citations for a research paper, watched a movie I have to write a review for this week, cancelled a dr appt, WENT to a dr appt (no not the one I cancelled LOL) and am currently writing a blog.  After which I will be updating my ADD/HD facebook page and starting on my movie review, which I anticipate finishing tomorrow.  I seem motivated, right?  I'm not Hyper-focused, per se, but I'm Gettin' 'er Done.

Is this an ADD/HD thing?  How does the ADD/HD mind cope with the expectation of being busy?  Can we use that to our advantage?  Last monday I had a taste of Awesome Pie and completely revamped 2 weeks worth of research in 5 hours and still gave my presentation in class at the end of the day.  Was this due to the extreme motivation/adrenaline of the last minute deadline?  Or was it actually Monday Mania, sweeping over me, making me invincible?

OR... is it something totally different?  Is this something "Normies" also have going for them, or could it be an ADD/HD superpower?  The world may never know.

Gotta fly

Thanks always for reading!
